Prayer resources
According to the founder of The Leprosy Mission, Wellesley Bailey, the Mission was ‘born and cradled in prayer’. Prayer continues to be central to all that we do.
Many of our TLM offices produce prayer resources on a quarterly or monthly basis, covering topics that relate to our work with leprosy-affected people, our staff and the countries that we work in. Find out the prayer needs of the country where you live by clicking here.

Mon 20 May
IDDC’s (International Disability Development Consortium) General Assembly is being held from 20-24 May. Pray for TLMI representatives Jannine Ebenso (secretary of the IDDC Board) and Geoff Warne who will be attending these meetings in Vienna. Pray for good networking opportunities and good collaboration with many of the organisations that TLM already partners with.
Tues 21 May
Praise God for TLM Spain’s new website. Pray that they will have the capacity and resources to improve it and keep it updated so that they can offer better information to their supporters.
Weds 22 May
EU-Cord’s Fundraising and Marketing working group are meeting today and tomorrow. Pray for Fiona Spence (TLMI communications manager) as she attends and contributes to these meetings. Pray for good networking opportunities and productive discussions.
Thurs 23 May
Give thanks for the team in Spain, including Mario Escobar and Ines Roca, may God give them strength and wisdom in their daily work.
Fri 24 May
Give thanks that TLM Portugal has been able to raise £250 from churches on Leprosy Mission Sunday for special shoes for leprosy-affected people. Pray for Portugal – it is struggling with vast numbers of unemployed and homeless people and there is great demand on many of the charities in Portugal for support and resources.

Pray for Clara Volpi, one of TLMI’s programme advisers, as she attends the EU-CORD annual general meeting in Brussels from 28-29 May (EU-CORD is a network of Christian relief and development organisations).
